Drew's double does it for Olney as Newport's run ends in defeat

But in the Premier League, Newport Pagnell Town’s undefeated record came to an end as they lost 3-2 to Deeping Rangers.

Hide AdDarren Lynch’s side had been 11 games unbeaten heading into the clash, but two goals in four minutes in the latter stages from the home side handed the Swans their first defeat of the campaign.
Josh Winters fired Newport into the lead at the Haydon Whitham Stadium with a spectacular effort from the edge of the box, but they were pegged back just before half time thanks to Daniele Schiavi’s equaliser.
Newport thought they’d done enough when Harry Stratton scored on the hour mark to regain the lead until, with 15 minutes to go, Deeping again equalised, this time through substitute Jason Kilbride.
And four minutes later, they won it when David Burton-Jones fired home Rangers’ third to end the run.

“Our unbeaten start has come to an end - so the challenge for my lads now is how they react to a defeat.”
