Newport Pagnell Town picked up their first win since November 2013, courtesy of a Darren Frost hat-trick seeing off Long Buckby 3-2 at Willen Road on Saturday.
They did it the hard way though, and found themselves 2-0 within the opening half an hour.
Swans responded quickly though, and Frost netted his first just before half time to give Newport a lifeline going in at the break.
And the home side came out desperate to get back on level terms, and they were shortly after the restart.
The equaliser came when some great chasing down the right side saw Matt Broomes reach a ball which most players would give up on. He crossed the ball for a waiting Frost for him to finish and get his second goal and pull Newport back on level terms.
And Frost completed his hat-trick when he received the ball just inside the area, neatly finishing into the far side of the net to secure the victory.
The result sees Swans climb up to 16th in the UCL Premier table.
On Saturday, they travel to 10th place side Holbeach.
Olney Town stay 11th in Division 1 after a 3-2 victory of their own, beating Bugbrooke St Michaels on Saturday.
Goals from Deanio Bailey-Brown, Ian Lindop and substitute Lyle Orange were enough to see the Badgers secure all three points.
In Spartan South Midlands Division 1, Stony Stratford were hit for six by Codicote on Tuesday night, going down 6-0 to leave them 19th in the table.
In Division 2, New Bradwell St Peter were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline, going down to Hale Leys United last Saturday. They host Brimsdown this Saturday.
