MK Gallacticos pulled off the surprise of the weekend as they thumped AFC Southgate 5-2 to move up to seventh in SSML Division 2.

Trailing 2-1 at half time, Gallacticos scored four second half goals to secure the win in their second 5-2 score in a row, having lost by the same score to Unite MK last weekend.

They play Tring Town this Saturday.

Loughton Manor were unable to move up the SSML Division 2 table as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Amersham Town on Saturday. Ricki Wigg-Booden scored his first goal of the season in the draw, which sees Manor remain ninth in the table on 13 points.

This Saturday, they take on city rivals Clean Slate at home.

Old Bradwell United came from behind and took the penalty-shoot out against nine-man Clean Slate to progress in the SSML Division 2 Cup.

Joab Mukisa headed Slate ahead before Richard Yeboah and Godwin Ameyaw were sent off. Ben Green equalised to force the shoot-out, with Shaun Ennis scoring winner.
