Swans back to winning ways
NEWPORT Pagnell Town got their United Counties League Premier Division season back on track with a 3-0 win at Blackstones on Saturday.
Two goals from Dom Lawless and one courtesy of Steve Brookes gave the Swans a comfortable victory in Lincolnshire, having gone four games without a win in all competitions.
Sat seventh in the table, they will also be boosted by the return to fitness of influential midfielder Richard Armstrong after a lengthy injury layoff.
Next up for Darren Lynch’s men is a trip to Huntingdon Town on Wednesday night before Saturday’s home game against Cogenhoe.
In UCL Division One, Olney Town went down 3-0 at Eynesbury Rovers on Saturday – a week after losing 2-0 at home to the same side. And in South Midlands League Division One, New Bradwell St Peter crashed 6-2 at home to Codicote, while Old Bradwell United were 3-2 winners at Wolverton Town.
