Dons, who currently train on the public playing fields at Woughton on the Green, have been desperate for a training complex of their own since moving to Milton Keynes in 2003.
And with the big cash injection, manager Karl Robinson expects the sum to go towards a state of the art training ground.
He said: “The chairman won’t just put a patch of grass down somewhere. If he does something, he does it big.
“Dele’s money will create a legacy for the rest of MK.”
