The first of Aneke's brace that day put Dons 3-0 up at London Road, but it was the manner of the goal which had most chins wagging at full time. Playing a neat one-two with defender Paul Downing, the 23-year-old blasted an unstoppable right-footed rocket past keeper Luke McGee.

Dons were involved in one of the other goals nominated this month too - that of Luke Wylde of Northampton Town. Barely on the pitch a minute, Wylde chested down a half-cleared free kick beautifully before timing a sweet half-volley past David Martin.
