Dons confirm another last minute loan signing
MK DONS have confirmed the loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Zeli Ismail, following clearance from the Football League.
The deal went through right on yesterday’s 5pm deadline for emergency loans and so there was a delay prior to the Football League ratifying the decision today.
The 18-year-old winger joins striker Patrick Bamford, who also signed on loan yesterday, and will be available for home games against Colchester United, Hartlepool, Walsall and Coventry as well as the trips to Brentford, Doncaster Rovers and Notts County.
The Albanian-born youngster came through the youth ranks at Wolves and signed his first professional deal in June 2010.
Ismail then went on to make his first team debut in September, coming on as a substitute in the Capital One Cup defeat to Chelsea.
The winger has been in great form for the Molineux side’s reserves this season and was recently rewarded with a new two and a half year deal.
The former England U17 international will provide good depth in a key area of Karl Robinson’s promotion-chasing side until January 2.
