Dons cannot afford to dwell on the 5-0 defeat to Burnley with games coming thick and fast, says Dean Lewington.
Reading are the visitors to stadium:mk on Saturday as Championship action comes thick and fast.
And despite the thumping at the hands of Burnley on Tuesday night, Lewington feels Dons need to get over it quickly, but learn from their mistakes.
“We don’t have time to feel sorry for ourselves,” he said.
“The gaffer will have his say and we’ve got to move on to the Reading game.
“It’s a blessing that we’ve got that game on Saturday, to respond quickly and put it all right.
“You have to use this as motivation. Sometimes it’s just one of those nights and you move on. We can’t do that here, and we have to look into why.
“We cannot brush it under the carpet - too many things went wrong.”
