MK Dons midfielder Mark Randall has been found not guilty of sexual assault in Aylesbury Crown Court.

The 26-year-old faced a charge of sexual assault following a night out with team-mates at MK Social in late 2014.

The jury took less than 30 minutes to deliver their verdict.

The following statement has been issued by Mark’s solicitor, Mike Hayward of Woodfines Solicitors: “Mr. Randall has waited to clear his name for 11 months and the not-guilty verdict brings a sustained period of anguish to a conclusion.

“He would like to request that he and his family’s privacy is respected and that they are allowed to move forward.”

MK Dons will make no further comment.
