Dons ratings vs Port Vale: Brilliant Baker

Player ratings vs Port Vale.

David Martin - 6 - Barely touched the ball. When he did, it was comfortable.

Dean Lewington - 7 - Caught up field a few times, but Vale offered so little it barely mattered.

Kyle McFadzean - 8 - Dominant in the air, gave N’Guessan and Williamson nothing.

Antony Kay - 7 - Looked more of a threat in front of goal than he did defending his own, firing in two decent efforts.

Jordan Spence - 7 - Solid display at full back, helping Carl Baker on the flank.

Dele Alli - 7 - Looked frightening at times, but tried to do a bit too much all by himself when the pass was on.

Darren Potter - 7 - One of the easiest afternoons he’ll have for a long time.

Daniel Powell - 7 - Didn’t see an awful lot of the ball, but looked keen to run with it.

Carl Baker - 9 - Sensational throughout, scoring his second in as many games, and deadly from the flank.

Ben Reeves - 7 - Looked back to his nuisance self again. Needs to find his shooting boots though.

Benik Afobe - 6 - Not on the same wavelength as his team-mates today.

Subs:

Dean Bowditch - 7 - A few lung-busting runs made him a dangerous outlet.

Will Grigg - 6 - Offered the Vale defence no time as he shut everything down.

Danny Green - Too late to make an impact.
