DONS will carry the weight of stadium:mk on their backs next season courtesy of their new kits.
The new strip and training range for the 2012-13 season were unveiled at a supporters’ forum tonight (Friday) with MK Dons first team manager, Karl Robinson playing a leading role in the design and fabric choices for next season.
Most striking are all outfield and goalkeeper shirts which each feature within the jersey an image of the soon to be completed stadium:mk.
The training-wear fabric incorporates the latest technology and includes design detail elements such as reverse stitching on a number of the items.
Local firm Vandanel, based in Wolverton, will manufacture the kits and will feature the new shirt sponsor, Olney-based Case Security.
Spencer Guinchard, Managing Director of Vandanel said “We are delighted to become technical kit suppliers to MK Dons. This project has been a true collaboration between our designers and the MK Dons management team and we look forward to providing the supporters with the highest quality match kit and sportswear.
“The Clubs team spirit, competitive nature and hard work sits perfectly with Vandanel’s core company values and we are confident of a successful partnership”
Andrew Cullen, Group Sales and Marketing Director of MK Dons said “The new partnership with Vandanel is indicative of the Club’s desire to work with local business wherever possible.
“We hope our supporters will be as equally delighted as our players and management team are with the stylish uniquely, custom designed new shirts and training range for 2012-13.”
The kits pictures are prototypes ahead of the full release later this year.
