Player ratings vs Coventry City:
David Martin - 8 - A spectator for most of the first half, but a superb penalty save in the second earned Dons all three points.
Dean Lewington - 7 - Didn’t roam forward much to keep tabs on Marshall, but defended brilliantly.
Antony Kay - 6 - Silly penalty to give away, but otherwise solid.
Jordan Spence - 7 - Looked comfortable, even under pressure in the second half.
George Baldock - 6 - Unspectacular, but effective.
Dele Alli - 8 - Midfield general once more, and a stunning goal for his highlights reel.
Alan Smith - 7 - Strong physical presence in midfield. Did all the dirty work well.
Dean Bowditch - 6 - Heartbreaking 10 minutes, as he started well before going down with what looked like hamstring trouble.
Daniel Powell - 6 - Didn’t see much of the ball in either half.
Matthew Kennedy - 7 - Started like a house on fire, but played less of a part as the game wore on.
James Loveridge - 6 - Like Kennedy, showed signs of greatness but couldn’t come up with any end product.
Giorgio Rasulo - 7 - His most minutes in a Dons shirt, replacing Bowditch in the number 9 slot. Added well to the attack in the first half, but struggled to play a part in the second as Coventry improved in the second half.
Izale McLeod - 7 - Scored with his second touch, and added a calm head.
Mark Randall - 6 - Couldn’t add much other than experience. Broke up play well.
