Player ratings vs Crawley Town:

David Martin - 7 - Commanded his area in the first half, but was left helpless with both goals. Carried a knock in the second half.

Dean Lewington - 6 - A vocal presence in defence, but didn’t stand out.

Jordan Spence - 5 - Looked uneasy alongside Brendan Galloway, and was at fault for the second goal on the stroke of half time.

Brendan Galloway - 6 - Looked assured at centre back, but made way in the second period as his manager rolled the dice.

George Baldock - 6 - Questionably positioning for the first goal. Otherwise, quiet.

Alan Smith - 8 - The only Dons player to earn his salt. Excellent in the second half in defence.

Dele Alli - 6 - Not up to his usual high standards.

Mark Randall - 6 - An assured head in midfield, but didn’t create anything.

Daniel Powell - 6 - Struggled to get involved from the wide areas.

Matty Kennedy - 6 - Like Powell, couldn’t make much of an impact. Sacrificed in the second half.

Izale McLeod - 5 - Made the right runs, but nothing came off. Had a howling miss in the first half.

Subs:

James Loveridge - 5 - Part of a triple substitution that didn’t make a difference. Had to work with scraps.

Sanmi Odelusi - 5 - Was bossed about by the Crawley defence as Dons pumped long balls up to him.

Giorgio Rasulo - 6 - Made more of an impact than his fellow substitutes, but it didn’t change anything.
