Player ratings vs Crewe Alexandra:

David Martin - 6 - Made some good stops, but looked as though he should have kept out Aneke’s free kick.

Dean Lewington - 7 - Arguably his best performance in recent weeks. Strong and good on the ball.

Shaun Williams - 6 - Another missed spot kick and still looks a bit shaky.

Antony Kay - 7 - Looked to be holding the defence together at times.

George Baldock - 6 - Still learning his trade at right back, but looked a greater asset going forward.

Darren Potter - 8 - Got forward far more often than we’re used to seeing him. Tough conditions but dealt with them well.

Stephen Gleeson - 6 - Took a back seat to Potter in the centre.

Samir Carruthers - 6 - Looked leggy and worn out. Replaced by Chadwick in the second half.

Ben Reeves - 7 - Left nothing behind, but it just didn’t work for him.

Dele Alli - 7 - Dons’ biggest threat in the first half, but lasted just five minutes in the second before being taken off.

Chris Long - 5 - Wasn’t involved for long periods, with a lot of loose touches.

Dean Bowditch - 7 - An early change in the second half, and carved out a few chances.

Daniel Powell - 5 - Doesn’t look comfortable playing as the lead man.

Luke Chadwick - 5 - Didn’t bring a lot to the table.
