Player ratings Vs Dagenham & Redbridge

David Martin - 6 - was hardly challenged, but made a good stop from Morgan.

Adam Chicksen - 7 - looks to be growing in confidence. Used his pace well to attack up the flanks.

Mathias Doumbe - 8 - best player on the pitch. Won every header and threw himself in front of every Dagenham shot.

Dean Lewington - 7 - coped very well moving inside to centre-back, and supported Chicksen well in his usual left-back position.

Danny Woodards - 7 - looks to be getting back to his best, proving strong at the back and a threat going forward.

Stephen Gleeson - 8 - he directed the midfield very well, distributing wide and yelling encouragement.

Peter Leven - 7 - felt he should have had a penalty and saw Dons’ best chance go just wide.

Lewis Guy - 6 - a tough day on a heavy pitch. Couldn’t put his pace or dribbling to good use.

Luke Chadwick - 6 - took an elbow to the face for the cause, but didn’t really get going on the bobbly surface.

Dan Powell - 6 - he made several good runs in the first half, but went off the boil in the second.

Jabo Ibehre - 7 - the target man is proving his worth of late. Held up the play to bring in his midfield runners.

Rowan Vine - 6 - still looking for a return to full fitness, but looks to be gelling well with the rest of his team-mates.

Sam Baldock - 6 - can’t seem to get a break, hobbling off just 15 minutes after making his return from injury.

Mark Carrington - 7 - if you don’t shoot, you don’t score and Carra’s late drive was enough to nick it.

TOP DON - Doumbe: Is establishing himself as the top defender at the club this season, and Saturday was no different. Brave, strong and great distribution on the day.
