Daniel Powell has put pen to paper on a new two year deal at MK Dons.
Having graduated through the academy, Powell has become one of Karl Robinson’s most valuable assets in the last 18 months, netting 22 times in just over 100 appearances for the club.
The 21-year-old signs his deal just days after Luke Chadwick also put his mark on a new two-year contract to keep him at stadium:mk.
Manager Karl Robinson said: “Daniel Powell is one of a number of talented players to come through our Academy and I am delighted he has committed his future to the football club.
“We know with Powelly we have a player who can turn a game in our favour in an instant. He has added goals to his game, but there is still a lot of work to be done until he becomes the finished article.
“We will continue to work hard with Powelly on and off the training pitch to continue his development. He is only 21 years old and I still believe the best is yet to come.
“Powelly offers us a great deal of pace and an option going forward, and he is an important player to the team.”
