Charlie Burns - 6 - Made a handful of saves, but beaten too easily for both goals.

Dean Lewington - 7 - Capped his 600th appearance with a fairly solid afternoon.

Kevin Long - 7 - Looked strong, but lost sight of Assombalonga for the winner. Had two great chances at the other end too.

Joe Walsh - 7 - Has looked Dons’ most reliable defender of late, and the Forest game was no exception.

Jordan Spence - 6 - Was unable to shake off the knock he picked up in the first half and was an early second half change.

Darren Potter - 6 - Unspectacular, but threw in some good tackles.

Samir Carruthers - 8 - Was a part of everything Dons did going forwards. Positive end to the season.

Dean Bowditch - 6 - Came in and out of the game.

Carl Baker - 6 - Struggled when sent to right back, beaten too easily for Assombalonga’s goal.

Josh Murphy - 8 - A constant threat when he was on the ball, and teed up Maynard brilliantly for the goal.

Nicky Maynard - 8 - Put a solid shift leading the line, and probably should have had a second but for his miscued volley.

Subs:

Ben Reeves - 7 - Looked like the Reeves of old, difficult to track, but just couldn’t find the target.

Alex Revell - 6 - Came on to cause a nuisance but did little to threaten the goal.

Oran Jackson - Made a few confidence-building touches.
