KARL Robinson has avoided a touchline ban after being sent off in Dons’ League 1 game against Colchester on January 2.

Admitting to the charges against him, Robinson requested a personal hearing with FA chiefs to discuss the incident on Wednesday.

After pleading his case, the 31-year-old was hit with a £1,250 fine and was warned of his future conduct, but he will be in the dugout for the game against Carlisle on Saturday.

Robinson was also fined and warned in August following an incident in a match against Swindon last season.
