Rotherham await Dons on opening day

MK Dons will begin life in the Championship on the road against Rotherham.

The fixtures were revealed this morning (Wednesday), for Dons’ first campaign in the second tier.

Following the trip to the New York Stadium, Dons will play back-to-back home games against Preston and Bolton, before travelling to Reading, and ending August at home to Birmingham City.

The festive period sees Dons take on Cardiff City at stadium:mk on Boxing Day, and a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United on January 2.

The run in will see Karl Robinson’s men take on Ipswich Town in the final away day, before rounding out the campaign at home to Nottingham Forest.
