Goals will come for strikers Sam Gallagher and Simon Church, insists Dons boss Karl Robinson.
Neither of the manager’s leading men have got on the scoresheet yet, despite scoring six in the opening two games this season.
In fact, Gallagher only had one clear chance on Saturday against Rotherham - dragging wide a shot in the opening 45 minutes - while Church had even less than that against Leyton Orient three days later.
However both played key roles in setting up goals along the way, and Robinson says they will find their scoring boots sooner rather than later.
“In some ways, it comes with the territory in playing up front for this club,” said Robinson, talking of the difficulties the strikers faced.
“The two have done really well in different ways. The goals will come naturally, we know that.
“They’ll work hard, but their movement needs to be a bit better.”
