NEW City Heating Premier Division champions Stony Stratford Town made a slow start to new campaign when they were held to a 1-1 home draw by Olney – last season’s Division One winners.

It’s Willen who have made the most impressive start, with their 4-2 win over AFC Santander ‘A’ making it six points from their opening two games.

The other fixture in the top division saw an 8-3 mauling for AFC Padbury at the hands of league new boys Wolvy Town who sit second in the table.

Coachmakers Arms are the team to beat in Division One as their 2-0 success against Punjab United made it two wins out of two.

Also unbeaten so far are New City Saints, who saw off bottom side MK United 4-0, and Stanton Manor who thumped Stantonbury Social Elite 6-0. Elsewhere New Bradwell enjoyed a 5-3 win over Open University.

Inter Faith top Division Two thanks to their 4-0 beating of Swanfica, but Stacey Bushes are only behind them on goal difference after seeing off AFC Santander ‘B’ 4-1.

Meanwhile Southcott Village beat RJ Fitness 3-2 and Bletchley Wanderers were 5-3 winners over IDW.
