Nurserymen hit Rushden for six in Cup
Olney Town cruised into the second round of the UCL League Cup after thumping Rushden & Higham United 6-2 on Tuesday night.
Aaron Murrell and Josh Crawley both bagged braces against Rushden, while Robert Macdonald and Nick Bines completed the scoring for the Nurserymen.
The result comes after they beat Loughton Manor 6-5 on penalties after a 0-0 draw with Loughton Manor on Saturday in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup, booking a third round tie against Buckingham Town.

In Spartan South Midlands Division 2, New Bradwell St Peter lost 2-1 on Tuesay night by St Neots Town Reserves, and Old Bradwell beat Clean Slate 5-1.
