Olney Town’s Berks & Bucks County Intermediate Cup campaign came to an end on Saturday as they went down 2-1 to Oakley United.

The Nurserymen took a 40th-minute lead through Sam O’Neill.

In the final minute of the first half Kieron Schmidt hauled the Oxfordshire Senior League title favourites on level terms.

A James Kebble goal two minutes past the hour won the contest for Oakley as they booked a spot in the last eight.

Olney Town Reserves marched into the last 16 of the Berks & Bucks County Junior Cup though with a 5-3 victory over Bucks CC.

They will now face the winners of the tie between Wycombe Athletic and Risborough Rangers.

In Spartan South Midlands Division One, Stony Stratford Town shared the points in a 3-3 draw with Edgware Town, after a brace from Anomneze and another strike from Oke.

For many other teams in the area, waterlogged pitched forced matches to be postponed.
