Olney Town shipped five goalson Tuesday night as they went down 5-0 to high-flying Eynesbury Rovers.

The UCL Division 1 side couldn’t put in a repeat of their performance on Saturday which saw them beat Bourne Town 3-1 at the Recreation Ground.

A Sam O’Neill brace and another from MassimoManni gave Olney all three points that day.

But Tuesday night’s heavy defeat at the hands of Eynesbury sees Town slip to 12th in Division 1.

It wasn’t a good week for the Spartan Midlands Division Two sides either.

New Bradwell St Peter were hit for six by third place side Mursley United, losing 6-0.

Willen were on the wrong end of a five goal thriller, losing 3-2 at home to Grendon Rangers.

Old Bradwell remain bottom of the table after losing 4-0 to The 61 FC (Luton).

And Wolverton Town were similarly beaten by Kent Athletic, going down 4-0 as they slide to eighth in the table.
