Seven up for Stony in cup final victory

Stony Stratford Town U13s were in seventh heaven as they crushed Abingdon Youth 7-0 to win the Berks & Bucks County Cup.

The team travelled to Flecknell Heath for the final, and were instantly on the front foot.

Stony moved the ball wide attacking them down the flanks with great success, creating chances straight after kick off.

Stony continued to press high, giving them a good platform for their attacks.

With our control and good possession it wasn’t long before the hard work paid off as they opened a 3-0 lead by half time.

Their dominance continued into the second half, as Stony upped the tempo and created even more chances to extend their lead.

And their dominance was clear as Stony ran in four more goals in the second half to complete their 7-0 rout.
