Silver lining for youngsters

While the future of English football is being discussed, FA bosses needn’t have looked any further than stadium:mk last weekend.

The Milton Keynes and District Development League finals were held out on the pitch at MK Dons’ stadium, with youngsters throughout the age groups playing the final matches of the season in a bid to get their hands on some silverware.

There were 10 cup finals spread across two days, and a record-breaking attendance too, with more than 1,600 parents, families and fans piling in to watch the finals from U9s to U14s.
