Soccer Shorts: Stony youngsters complete fantastic tournament double

PICTURED are the boys of Stony Stratford U11s who followed up their recent victory at Newport Pagnell’s Tournament by winning the Willen World Cup at the weekend.

The team played 11 games, of which they won six and drew five, while scoring 12 goals and conceding only two.

Well done to Bradley Castle-Booth Ethan Flannigan, Tom Simister, Charlie Boxell, Josh Rook, Luke Hewett, Eathan Nicholls and Shaun Rath.

The big challenge for the team now is to take their outstanding form into the new league season, with the aim of winning promotion up to Division One of their Milton Keynes & Border Counties Youth League age group.
