There were mixed fortunes for the four finalists set for this Sunday’s big Cup Finals Day at The Irish Centre in Bletchley.

Olney Town may have been suffering from pre-Knock Out Cup final nerves in their 5-0 home thrashing by Santander ‘A’, as Premier Division winners Willen were given the points because Wolvy Town failed to muster a side.

Bill Johnson Cup finalists Inter Faith cantered past poor Stacey Bushes 6-2 in Division Two, as champions RJ Fitness had a free day.

Other matches in Division Two saw Santander ‘B’ defeat IDW 3-1 and Swanfica notch up a surprise 3-0 victory over Southcott.

In Division One, FC MMIX beat Coachmakers 4-3, while the Open University soundly walloped Buckingham United 5-1 and New Bradwell picked up three points after New City Saints failed to turn up.

All eyes now turn to this Sunday’s two finals, with the Bill Johnson Cup showdown between RJ Fitness and Inter Faith kicking-off at 10.30am, followed by Olney and Willen doing battle in the Knock Out Cup at 2pm.
