With the National Championships over, Orbit MK were able to let their hair down and enjoy a friendly competition against Chipping Norton.

Some of the more inexperienced jumpers got a chance to compete against Higher Energy, and they certainly didn’t let the occasion get the better of them.

Archie Blackmore Read got us underway in the Beginners U7s with a third place.

In Beginners U9s, Kyle Seymour Griffiths came sixth, and Lewis Walters took first in the U11s and was awarded the second highest score of the day trophy. Team mate Kacey King came second.

In the Club I group we had Katie Balmer fifth in the U9s, Connor Walters was fifth in the U11s, and Maddy Murphey was 1st in the U15s.

At Club H level, Andrew Brown was seventh in the U11s, Abigail Moore was fouth, Daisy Edwards third and Ben Gilroy came first.

Their jumps took first place in the team competition and an award for the second highest team score of the day.

Still taking the medals at H, Josie Crisp was 3rd in the U15s, Charlotte Pollard was second and Jordan Murphy won.

At G grade U13, Jayne Pangbourne came 12th, Freya Clark eighth, Millie Cole third and Charlie Roberts won. They also ran off with the team prize.

Alone at G grade U15, Lauren Muttitt excelled herself to win and also took the trophy for the highest score at G, and in fact for the whole day.

In the Open division Georgia Makel beat some high level competitors to reach second place.
