Jack Leahy will represent Great Britain next week at the Trampoline and Tumbling World Age Group Championships in Florida.
The youngster will be competing in the 11-12 age group, having had an excellent season so far.
Jack, who trains at MK Gymnastics in Kingston, has celebrated great results at the recent Loule Cup in Portugal and British Championships.
As a result, he was eligible to travel to The National Sports Centre in Lilleshall to trial against the best boys in the country and he didn’t disappoint in any way.
Coach Michael French said: “Jack has put in a massive amount of hard work over the last year competing skills that most wouldn’t see until much later years within Tumbling.
“Both Jack and I have spent countless hours in the gym going over runs, programs, fitness and conditioning to get Jack to this year’s World Championships which will be held at the amazing Ocean Centre.
“On behalf of everyone at Milton Keynes Gymnastics we would like to wish Jack the very best of luck.
“He has made everyone extremely proud with everything he has achieved in just two years of tumbling.
“It’s very clear the future is looking bright for this young man and we look forward to what it brings.”
At the championship, Jack will be competing against the world’s top tumblers, from 39 countries.
