Medals for Orbit's youngsters

A young Orbit squad were in fine form at the Oxford Grass Roots competition.

Getting them off to a bright start in the 7yrs and under, the winning team of Faridah Lawal, Yasir Lawal, Evie Houldsworth and Natalia Pietrzykowska wore their gold medals with pride. Individually, Faridah took first place and was awarded a cup for the most promising rising star.

Joel Anderson competed at 9 and under, and although was disappointed with 4th. place he showed great style and promise.

Bethany Houldsworth took a fine gold in the 13 and under group.

In the 9 and under group, Orbit had another team gold won by Niamh Cole, Libby-Leigh Corby, Summer Goldsmith, Borte Jones and Lucy Ravillious. Individually, Libby-Leigh took silver medal.

Leonie Ravillious took an individual silver in the large 11 and under group.

At NDP 3 in the 13 and under, Imogen Wells took another fine gold, while in the age above at Over 14s, Sammie Godleman was also showing winning ways with first place.

At NDP 4 in a strong group, Charlotte Blackmore acquitted herself well with a fifth place.

Finally in NDP 5 Milly Cole took bronze, while her male team-mate Charlie Roberts beat all the girls stealing the gold medal. Charlie also went on to receive the cup for the highest form score of the competition.
