Ups and downs for Orbit team

There were some great results to celebrate for Orbit trampolining club at the latest round of the Southern Region competition in Southampton.

Getting the team off to a great start in the girls 15–16, L6 Ciara O’Brien by taking gold.

In the 13–14 girls Lauren McEvaddy fell victim to lack of training, finishing below her potential in 10th place.

In the boys 17 plus group Ritchie Clarke jumped well in a strong group to finish 5th.

In the groups to L4 in the girls 15 plus, Lucy Pangbourne took 2nd, and in the 7–14 girls Molly Jefferson took 1st.

At L3 13 plus girls Charlotte Pollard came 6th.

Moving onto the afternoon and the alphabetical grades, Rachel Marsh competed in the U 11 G girls and improved to 7th. place, exactly half way.

In the U15 girls G Jayne Pangbourne was 6th, and Ellie Jade Billingham came 10th. Daisy Carter jumped in the O 15 girls and improved her previous place to 7th.

At F grade in the U13 girls Millie Heathcote came 1st and qualifying up to E grade. Rebecca Dormer took9th, Daniella Toomey and Lacey Butler were 11th and 12th, taking team silver.

In the O13 F girls Zoe Taylor made an uncharacteristic mistake to land on the end frame and ended in 13th, while Kathryn Marsh was 11th and Amy Smith 7th.

Charlie Roberts easily won the grade E U13 boys.

In the U 15 girls, Anya Butler came 5th and qualified up to D grade. Georgia Makel took bronze and qualified for D.

The O15 girls were not to be outdone, taking the team gold.

Individually, Amy Hewitson was 10th. Katy Smith 11th. and Libby Daniells 6th, Lucy Panbourne was 3rd. and Helena Bloomfield took 1st.
