Kickboxer Kelly Haynes has her sights set on wearing championship gold in the near future after a unanimous victory in Kent at the weekend.
The 31-year-old from Bletchley knocked Danielle Peters down in the third round with a fierce overhand strike, but she was only given an eight count in the dying moments.
But judges scored Kelly the unanimous winner - her first win in front of seven-year-old son Archie.
Despite struggling to find opponents at her weight (under 53kg), Kelly says her performance on Saturday and her overall record should put her into contention to win a title match by early next year at the latest.
“I’m trying to line-up a fight for a title, that’s the aim.”
Kelly’s Total Dojo team-mate Ana Roys was also victorious on the night, beating Louise Richie in the under 64kg category.
