Ice hockey players are coming together to play a 24 hour match in memory of their friend Kris Ledgard.

Kris was just 22-year-old when he died of a heart attack.

In his memory, Kris’ family have set up the Kris Ledgard Foundation and Memorial Fund to raise awareness for cardiac abnormalities in young people.

The 24-hour hockey match will take place on July 13 at MK Ice in the Food Centre.

Kris’ brother Tomas said: “As a family we’re chuffed that the MK ice hockey community has chosen to support our charity and raise money for such a worthy cause.”
