MK Lightning will start their new English Premier League season with a ‘home’ fixture against reigning champions Guildford Flames.
The game will be played at the Coventry Skydome on Saturday, September 21, and is followed by the team’s first road trip of the season to play Bracknell Bees 24 hours later.
The team’s final fixtures before the Christmas break are a double-header against Slough Jets – at Coventry on Saturday, December 21 and away the next day. The action then resumes six days later as Lightning welcome Sheffield Steeldogs.
The regular season draws to a close on Saturday, March 23 with a visit from Bracknell and trip to Basingstoke Bison a day later.
Supporters can also make a note in their diaries of the play-off quarter final dates of Marh 29 and 30, ahead of the all-important play-off finals on April 5 and 6.
Lightning are working on transport arrangements to help as many fans as possible make regular trips north to Coventry, and face-off times for home fixtures have been put back to 7.30pm.
Lightning chairman Vito Rausa said: “We know that supporters have been really looking forward to seeing the full fixture list, so they can start thinking about travel arrangements for getting to Coventry.
“We already know that fans are enthusiastically making car sharing arrangements, and we’re also still working on arrangements for coaches to allow as many supporters as want to, to travel to Coventry.
“We want to make it as easy and cost-effective as we can to allow our fans to support the team at the Skydome, so we’re considering arrangements like having several coaches with staggered departure times, plus a combined and discounted coach and entry ticket, and also discounts for committing to coach travel in advance.
“As soon as the details are confirmed we’ll announce them on the website, so fans can begin making plans and looking forward to the new season.”
Details of challenge games ahead of the new season are still to be confirmed.
