It's official - Brentford are Dons' bogey team!
Londoners take four points from two games
Dons boss Paul Ince lamented his side's ability to secure victory at Brentord after another late goal cost them two points.
When Aaron Wilbraham put his men 3-2 ahead in the 93rd minute the Dons boss must have thought he had three points in the bag.
But his side weren't able to concentrate until the final whistle and Carl Cort fired in an equaliser 60 seconds later in an astonishing finish to the game at Griffin Park.
His side have picked up a horrible habit for letting in last minute goals this season, and a frustrated Ince called for his troops to start showing character in the closing stages of games.
He said: "We've seen enough evidence this season of teams scoring last minute goals and we need characters and voices in the side.
"When Alby scored that should of been it. Your automatic reaction should then be to switch on. But we didn't and if Corty doesn't score the other man does because people haven't done their job.
"The goals should have been prevented and a team like ours should come away with the three points."
Ince said Brentford's goal really rubbed salt into the wounds after the manner in which the Bees stole victory at stadium:mk earlier this season with literally their only shot of the game.
"It was disappointing to lose a goal in the last minute, especially considering what happened to us at our place when we had 20 shots to their one and they came away with the three points," he said.
"When you score in the 92nd minute you think you have got a bit of retribution but we just switched off again.
"It's three points dropped and if you look at our two games with Brentford it's more than that. They have had four points from us this season and haven't really merited that - no disrespect to Andy Scott who is a top man, but on the balance of play we should have got all six points."
Aaron Wilbraham had put Dons ahead before Sam Wood fired Brentford level. Dons re-took the lead with a Jermaine Easter penalty after Luke Chadwick was brought down in the box by Mark Phillips. And Ince felt the defender was lucky not to be shown his marching orders.
"I don't like to see people sent off but he should be red carded as Chaddy is in on goal and it's a goal scoring opportunity and a yellow card wasn't sufficient. It changed the course of the game."
But while Ince said he was annoyed with the outcome of the game he did say seven points out of the last nine available does represent a welcome improvement.
"It's a positive but sometimes it's how you win, lose and draw games that really matters.
"Results can paper over the cracks and when you look at this game today we have dropped two points because we haven't concentrated in the last minute.
"But this week has been a big ask on the players and they've all done well."
