THE Berks & Bucks FA has launched two new programmes to encourage people in Milton Keynes to take up playing football more regularly.

The ‘Vauxhall Mash Up Sessions’ are aimed at people between the ages of 14 and 17 who are no longer able to commit to playing 11-a-side football for a club, but still want to have a kick-about with their mates.

Open to girls and boys, the Mash Up is a kick-about with your mates, overseen by an FA coach who will ensure that the sessions are fun and sociable for all involved.

The Berks & Bucks FA will also deliver the first of six ‘Freestyle Football’ sessions at Bletchley Youth Centre shortly, aimed at those aged between 14 and 25 who want to enjoy regular football activity.

Freestyle Football is said to be the art of expressing yourself with a football, whilst performing various tricks with any part of the body. It’s often performed as a routine to music and is inspired by acrobatics and break-dancing.

For more information on both sessions, email naomi.loveless@berks-bucksfa.com
