Dons to face Barnsley in FA Cup fifth round

MK Dons will face Barnsley at stadium:mk in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Dons made it to the fifth round for the first time in their history after a dramatic 4-2 win over QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday.

An own goal from Armand Traore and goals from Ryan Lowe, Ryan Harley and Darren Potter saw Dons lead 4-0 until late in the game, when Jay Bothroyd and Fabio netted consolation goals for Rangers.

Barnsley meanwhile beat Hull at the KC Stadium on Saturday to book their fifth round spot.

The game will be played over the weekend of February 16/17, meaning Dons’ game against Swindon will be moved to a midweek clash.
