David Martin – 6 – Barely had anything to do all afternoon, spare a few routine plucks from the sky.
Dean Lewington – 6 – Didn’t face much trouble from the Wednesday wings, but likewise didn’t cause much of a threat going forward either.
Mathias Doumbe – 7 – Put behind him a tough couple of performances with a solid display.
Antony Kay – 7 – Put his body, well face, on the line to keep Wednesday at bay.
Shaun Williams – 8 – Solid in defence, but even better in midfield. Twice came close with fine shots, the latter of which was only denied by the post.
Darren Potter – 7 – A good return to his old stomping grounds. Played clever triangles around the midfield, frustrating the home side.
Ryan Harley – 7 – Looks like he has been playing in the side for much longer than just a week. Part of the efficient midfield trio which angered the home support.
Alan Smith – 7 – Best performance in a Dons shirt for a while. Held up play well.
Adam Chicksen – 7 – Battled hard on the flank, put in a few good crosses too.
Zeli Ismail – 6 – Didn’t see much of the ball before being replaced by Alli.
Ryan Lowe – 6 – Didn’t have much joy against his former club, and seldom saw the ball. Received a great ovation from the crowd when he left the field though.
Subs:
Dele Alli – 6 – Like Ismail, didn’t get the ball much on the right-hand side.
Gary MacKenzie – 7 – Looks so desperate to get some time on the ball after a long time out.
Giorgio Rasulo – Wasn’t on long enough to have an impact
