Three-time world champion Sebastian Vettel has signed a deal to stay at Red Bull Racing until the end of the 2015 season.
The Tilbrook team have fended off Italian giants Ferrari for the signature of the German, who joined the team in 2009 from Toro Rosso.
Ferrari were heavily touted as suitors for Vettel as they eye up a long term replacement for Fernando Alonso, with some rumours claiming the Prancing Horse had already come to an agreement with him to race there when his Red Bull deal comes to an end.
During his time with Red Bull, Vettel has won 28 races and taken 38 pole positions on his way to three consecutive F1 titles.
His latest victory came on Sunday at the Canadian Grand Prix, as he extended his championship lead over Alonso to 36 points.
