Jordan Stilp climbed into the top four of the Renault UK Clio Cup championship with a double-podium finish in Knockhill, Scotland.
The Potterspury racer claimed third place in the first race, before taking the chequered flag in the second race to cap a magnificent weekend.
Having made a great start in Race 1, Stilp found himself in second place, battling with Mike Bushell for the lead.
Stilp made a bold move for the lead, but left the door open for Ant Whorton-Eales to make a move up the inside to snatch second place.
Stilp has to settle for third place at the line, though he was pleased with another podium finish.
“I’m happy,” he said. “It doesn’t matter where you start on the grid in Clios, you’re never too sur ewhere you’re going to finish!”
And it didn’t matter that he wasn’t on pole position for Race 2, because he managed to get the jump on Bushell at the lights to take the lead.
And from there, he showed the rest of the field a clean set of heels as he built up a 1.5 second lead to the chasing pack, taking the chequered flag with ease.
He said: “It’s absolutely great.
“After yesterday’s podium, we thought that might be our best result for the weekend, but we went into today’s race with high hopes, messed around with the car a little bit and I was able to make a gap which helped out towards the end.
“It has been a great weekend!”
