Joe Turney was the class of the field in Fulbeck as he stormed to back-to-back victories, and with it, the British Karting Championship lead.
After decent finishes in the heats, Turney wdid more than enough to qualify for hte finals.
After a rough start with lots of jostling in Final One Turney dropped back a few places but was soon in his stride and with passing places limited he seized every opportunity, once he hit the front he was uncatchable finishing over six seconds ahead of the chasing pack.
Going off pole for final two he led from lights to flag eventually taking the chequered flag over four seconds ahead of his team mate and taking the event fastest lap in the process.
He now leads the British Championships with three rounds to go.
Turney will be competing in Kartmasters at the beginning of August and then round five of the championships mid August in Larkhall, Scotland.
