Red Bull Racing launched their new 2016 livery on Wednesday ahead of the first test of the season next week.
The Tilbrook squad unveiled their new look in London on last year’s RB11 chassis, but will not reveal the the RB12 until the first test in Barcelona on Monday February 22.
The livery features new sponsorship from Tag Heuer, who have lent their name to the power-unit Red Bull will be developing themselves this season, based on Renault’s base.
“There’s always a buzz in F1 at this time of year and launching the new car livery,” said driver Daniel Ricciardo. “It’s a bit of an understatement to say I’m excited to drive the new car next week – I can’t wait! We’ve got a pretty intense few weeks of testing ahead but I’m up for that and I’m definitely hungry to get racing in Melbourne.”
Team mate Daniil Kvyat added: “We’re all looking forward to the new season and the launch today was a really good way to start. I’m really looking forward to seeing how things progress. I think we finished last season in good shape and hopefully we can carry that through to the start of this season. It’s an exciting time for a driver and I can’t wait to get started.”
