SEBASTIAN Vettel will cast his eyes over his new championship contender for the first time in Milton Keynes next month.

The Adrian Newey-designed RB9 will be unveiled to the world for the first time on Sunday February 3 at the factory in Milton Keynes, two days before the first pre-season test in Jerez, Spain, where Vettel and team-mate Mark Webber will try it out for the first time.

The car has huge shoes to follow - all three of its predecessors, the RB6, RB7 and RB8, have picked up both the driver’s and constructors’ championships, catapaulting the team to the top of the sport.

The first race of the 2013 season gets under way in Melbourne, Australia, on Sunday March 17.
