New era for Aspley Guise bowls

Bowls players in Aspley Guise have brand new facilities to ply their trade.

Around 80 members attended this special event with guest of honour Philip Menday. They were joined by, Ian Macleod Woburn Sands Town Mayor, Ian Pickering Aspley Guise Parish Council Chairman, Ladies and Men’s Buckinghamshire Bowls Association Presidents and representatives from our Sponsors.

The new facilities were officially opened by Philip who cut the ribbon and unveiled the commemorative plaques.

Christine Norwood, club treasurer said: “The day has been a great success. This event is the start of a new era for our club and members.”
