Anyone who remembers the likes of Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy wrestling on prime time TV back in the day might like this.

It’s not fancy-pants American style grappling but good British-style holds and slams that will be enthralling visitors to Bletchley Working Men’s Club on Saturday, September 14.

The Chandos Place venue will play host to an array of South Midlands wrestling stars including Cy Gregory, Brad Payne, Mark Massa and more.

There will be a mix of a world of sport rules match, tag team match and high flying moves.

Organisers South Midlands Wrestling Promotions says it is passionate about keeping the traditional style of British wrestling alive and have training input from the likes of world sports wrestlers Roger Tofield and Jonny Kincaid.

Just recently the group showed its softer sides, wrestling their way at a fun day in aid of The Henry Allen Appeal which helped raise £2,175.

Doors at the Bletchley event open at 6.45pm with the first bell at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £7 for an adult and £5 for children. A family of four is £20.
