Rob’s hat-trick adds up to victory for Data

WOBURN Sands Data recorded their first win in Division One of the Table Tennis League when they beat MK Tornadoes 7-3, with Rob McPheat winning all three of his games for Data.

That victory sees the two sides swap places at the bottom, while at the other end of the table, OU Pavilion lost their first game of the season 6-4 to MK Powers who are now only two points behind the leaders.

In Division Two, MK Hydra remain eight points clear at the summit after being held to a 5-5 draw by Greenleys Princes, with Richard Weston winning all of his games for bottom of the pile Princes.

Padbury Night Owls also caused a shock as they held leaders OU Dragons to a 5-5 draw in Division Three – Paul Stanger getting back to winning ways with three out of three.

Greenleys Cardinals continued their unbeaten run in Division Six with an 8-2 victory over close rivals Stony Crickets – James achieving a maximum for Cardinals.

And Woburn Sands Rams are one point clear in Division Seven after a 7-3 win over Little Horwood Destroyers, Stephen Willet helping by winning all of his games.

Division Five: Shenley Rockets 4-6 Mursley Strikers, MK Dons 6-4 Little Horwood.

Division Six: Mursley Magpies 2-8 Respect Tigers, MK Allsorts 4-6 OU Newcomers, Stony Stratford Crickets 2-8 Greenleys Cardinals, MK Flames 0-10 St Christopher Buzzards.
