Tornadoes feel the Powers

MK POWERS achieved a 10-0 whitewash over MK Tornadoes to take them back to the top of the Milton Keynes Table Tennis League Division One, with Peter Tillotson, Thai–Ahn Lieu and Tony Lin winning all their games.

Last week there were a further three 10-0 victories in the league – one in Division Three for St Christopher Van Hire against Padbury Night Owls, and two in Division Six for leaders Greenleys Cardinals over Mursley Magpies, and Stony Stratford Crickets against MK Flames.

Premier Division: MK Rovers 2-8 MK Stormers; Greenleys Monarchs 9-1 Greenleys Kings.

Division One: MK Phoenix 6-4 Open University Pavilion; MK Pumas 6-4 Woburn Sands Data; MK Tornadoes 0-10 MK Powers.

Division Two: MK Bandits 2-8 MK Marlborough; MK Shambles 7-3 MK Hydra; Greenleys Princes 0-10 Newport Pagnell Blackadders.

Division Three: MK Musketeers 5-5 Open University Dragons; Mursley Swallows 3-7 Newport Pagnell Lagondas; St Christopher Van Hire 10-0 Padbury Night Owls; Woburn Sands Mosquitoes 5-5 Greenleys Troopers.

Division Four: Mursley Swifts 8-2 MK Eagles; Open University Falcons 7-3 Chackmore Wannabes; MK Cavaliers 3-7 Mursley Meths; Chackmore Hasbeens 3-7 Shenley Sharpshooters.

Division Five: Mursley Strikers 8-2 Greenleys Dukes; Shenley Rockets 4-6 MK Dons.

Division Six: Greenleys Cardinals 10-0 Mursley Magpies; Stony Stratford Crickets 10-0 MK Flames; Open University Newcomers 5-5 St Christopher Buzzards.
