It may have been a friendly, but there were no signs of Bletchley Ladies letting off the throttle as their winning streak continued against a combined Hitchin and Tabards side on Sunday.
The game had barely started before Bletchley got themselves in front.
From the kick off, the home side stole the ball and pushed forwards. Passing the ball wide to Emma Taylor, she cross the line in the corner to put Bletchley 5-0 ahead.
But scoring proved difficult for both sides. The visitors were by no means any pushovers, and made the Bletchley defence work hard for their afternoon.
Bletchley could only breathe a sigh of relief two minutes from the end. Stealing possession from a Hitard line out, Bletchley put in a big drive for the line, where Claire Sutton finally managed to put the ball down to win it 10-0.
