Bletchley travelled to Wallingford with players deep down thinking of next week’s final at Trowbridge which is a priority for the coaching team.
Wallingford determined to put the wrongs right of the first encounter where they received a 80 point drubbing put a determined and aggressive fight to Bletchley which was a totally different affair to the first encounter, albeit the weather playing havoc with the players.
Bletchley had a 15-3 half time lead, tries through Matt Nobes and Kevin Turnbull. Phil Harman was successful with 1 of the conversions and penalty to take it to 15 with Wallingford converting a penalty
Bletchley extended the lead to 27-3 10 minutes into the second half through Matt Nobes’ second try of the game and Will Garret rounding the fourth try for a bonus point.
Phil Harman slotted one of the conversions to add the extra points.
Wallingford then deservedly came back with two tries ,one of them being converted taking the score to 15-27.
